Tyler Cicotte
The Kiwanis Club of La Conner has announced its students of the month for March.
High school student of the month is Tyler Cicotte, a junior. Tyler's parents are Vince and Barb Cicotte. Tyler's favorite class is Spanish and he's excited to be going to Honduras with the Spanish class in June. He likes to play basketball, golf and video games. After graduation, he wants to attend college, but has not decided what he might study.
Annika Keith
Middle school student of the month is Annika Keith. Her parent is Susann Keith. Anika is in eighth grade, sings in choir and performed in the recent school play. She enjoys her class in math as well. Annika participates in school soccer, basketball and track. Outside of school, she enjoys painting, horseback riding and playing the piano. After graduation she hopes to have a career in music.
Elementary school student of the month is fifth grader Jakob Gellert. Jakob's parents are Max and Jessica Gellert. Jakob likes his classes in PE, math and reading. He spends most of his time outside of school practicing and playing hockey as a defender for the Whatcom Warriors Hockey Team in Bellingham. The Kraken is his favorite National Hockey League team. He hopes to eventually play in the NHL.
