The Kiwanis Club of La Conner May High School Student of the Month is Hadley Shears. She graduated in June and is the daughter of Cory and Jen Shears. Hadley has been active in school cheer, varsity volunteerism and Knowledge Bowl. Outside of school she likes to be outdoors, ski, hike and be out on the family boat. She is passionate about music, movies and art. Hadley was valedictorian of her graduating class. She will be attending Western Washington University this fall. She has not determined an area of study but looks forward to taking a variety of classes.

Suniva Lockrem

May's Middle School Student is Suniva Lockrem. Suniva is in eighth grade. Her parents are Jeremy and Nicole Lockrem. Suniva's favorite class is social studies. She enjoys sports and hanging out the friends. After graduating she would like to attend college but has not decided on a career.

The Elementary Student for May is a set of twins. Pauline and Ellie Wright are in fifth grade. Their parents are Michael and Wendy Wright. Pauline enjoys volleyball, track, field trips and being with friends. She is interested in being a nurse, lawyer or marine biologist. Ellie likes reading, writing and PE classes. Outside of school she likes soccer, skateboarding, traveling and being with friends. She is interested in being an author, helping endangered animals or traveling the world.
