Sunday, March 5

12:39 a.m.: Local disturbance – A male was reported yelling, screaming and causing a disturbance. The male appeared asleep when he was contacted by police and after he woke up said he would be moving along. Myrtle St., La Conner.

4:37 p.m.: Scratch and run – A male suspect on a bike scratched the front bumper of a truck parked on the street. The male took off on his bike when confronted by the vehicle owner. 4th St., La Conner.

Wednesday, March 8

4:02 p.m.: Found dog – A stray blue healer mix dog was found running loose in downtown La Conner. The dog was caught by Town code enforcement and later transported to the Humane Society. Douglas St., La Conner.

9:22 p.m.: Wallet theft – Caller reported her wallet went missing from her purse from the time she left Pioneer Market until she got into her vehicle. The area was checked; however, the wallet wasn’t found. It contained cash, bank cards and identification. Morris St., La Conner.

Thursday, March 9

5:28 p.m.: Burglary – A homeowner was burglarized while they were away from their home for an hour and a half. Missing from the house is jewelry, knives, vehicle keys and personal documents. The investigation is ongoing. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, March 10

5:28 p.m.: Vehicle fire – A campfire was left unattended and spread to a vehicle which was parked next to it. The Fire Department responded and extinguished the fully engulfed vehicle. Fir Island Rd., Greater La Conner.
