Monday, January 23

11:30 a.m.: Wandering dog – A tan female pit bull mix was wandering in the Farmhouse parking lot. The organization SPOT (Saving Pets One at a Time) was contacted to come get the dog. The humane society was also notified in case someone reports the dog missing. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:56 p.m.: Stolen tools – A suspect entered a detached shop and took two Dewalt drills and a Dewalt Saw Zaw from a toolbox sometime overnight. There are currently no suspects. 4th St., La Conner.

3:23 p.m.: Suspicious activity – Report of subjects loitering in the parking lot. The subjects left shortly after the report. 1st St., La Conner.

7:30 p.m.: Stolen truck found – A stolen truck from Bellingham was found abandoned on the road. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and he recovered his truck. Young Rd., Greater La Conner.

Wednesday, January 25

10:42 a.m.: Trespassing at historic site – A male subject was loitering in the historic Magnus Anderson Cabin. The male has been contacted there in the past because of possible drug usage. He was trespassed from the site by law enforcement. Douglas St., La Conner.

Thursday, January 26

9:21 a.m.: Fraud at drugstore – A suspect using a fictitious name pretended to be a telehealth doctor to order a prescription for a controlled substance. Employees determined the attempted order to be fraudulent and reported it to law enforcement. Morris St., La Conner.

5:13 p.m.: Out of gas – A recreational vehicle ran out of gas near a house and was there for several hours while the owner waited for someone to bring him fuel. Fir Island Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:44 p.m.: Car drove into ditch – One vehicle non-injury car accident. The driver of the vehicle lost control and ended up in a ditch. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, January 27

2:43 p.m.: Stolen bike – A mountain bike was stolen from a shed. There are no suspects currently. Whatcom St., La Conner.

Saturday, January 28

6:19 a.m.: Suspicious van – A suspicious van turned out to be a person staying in their vehicle to stay warm. The person eventually moved out of the area. Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.
