The Kiwanis Club of La Conner has chosen its November students of the month.

Kendall Lee is the high school student for November. Her parents are Jason and Dawn Lee. Kendall is a sophomore at La Conner High School. She is her class ASB treasurer. She plays the flute in pep band and recently joined the knowledge bowl team. Kendall plays soccer and tennis both in school and outside of school. After graduation she would like to study emergency medicine.

Kellie Cayou-Lockrem is the November middle school student. Her parents are Josh and Va Lockrem. Kellie is in eighth grade at La Conner Middle School. Kellie participates in school soccer, basketball and softball. She is president of ETC, the Empowering Teen Club. She has been learning canoe pulling and participates in war canoe racing. She would like to become an EMT.

Luke Herring is the elementary student of the month. Jarica Quick is his parent. He is in fifth grade at La Conner Elementary School. Luke likes his classes in math and writing. He plays the trumpet in the band. Outside of school Luke loves music. He plays piano, recorder, trumpet, guitar and ukulele. He hasn’t decided his future, but it will probably involve music.
