Sunday, July 24

11:42 a.m.: Padilla Bay prowl – A vehicle parked in the Padilla Bay North Trail entrance was broken into and a cell phone was taken. The vehicle owner was walking on the trail away from the car when it occurred. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

12:48 p.m.: Dogs in hot car – Report of three dogs in a hot car parked behind the Retirement Inn. The vehicle was gone when the caller checked again. 2nd St., La Conner.

4:26 p.m.: Dogs bite – A bicyclist was bit by a dog while riding. They were unsure which one of the several dogs that chased him bit. The dog’s owner was contacted by animal control and two dogs were suggested to be on quarantine at their house. Kamb Rd., Greater La Conner.

Monday, July 25

1:03 p.m.: Fuel tank hole – A company vehicle had a hole drilled in the fuel tank sometime in the last few days. A suspect has not been identified. Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, July 26

10:07 a.m.: Graffiti witnessed – Two males associated to a dark colored SUV painted graffiti on the fence outside the apartment building. The suspect’s identities are being investigated. Maple Ave., La Conner.

Wednesday, July 27

4:06 p.m.: Abandoned at Similk – A recreational vehicle has been abandoned in the parking area of Similk Beach for over a week. The process to remove the vehicle was initiated by law enforcement. Similk Beach, Greater La Conner.

Thursday, July 28

8:51 a.m.: Struck power line– A semi-truck hit a low hanging power line. The power company was notified and they responded and fixed the line. Maple Ave., La Conner.

7:13 p.m.: Parking lot collision – A truck collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle in the parking lot across from the La Conner Inn. The driver of the truck was identified and his insurance information was provided to the owner of the parked car. 2nd St., La Conner.
