7:57 a.m.: Kids vs adult – Caller reported an ongoing issue with sledders on the hill running into his vehicle and moving his potted plants. A deputy responded and sat in the area to monitor the sledders. The deputy spoke to the sledders, advising them to sled on the opposite side of the roadway. 3:45 p.m.: After theft report – Caller reported an individual in a white camo hoodie that has come onto his porch and taken items. The last item taken was a Makita powered leaf blower. Morris St., La Conner.

Thursday, December 30

2:55 a.m.: Good deed done – Deputies provided a courtesy transport to a stranded motorist. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

10:07 a.m.: How long ago? – Deputies investigated a car vs fence motor vehicle accident. Deputies arrived and found the vehicle to be abandoned. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

8:08 p.m.: After theft check-in – Report of a neighbor’s dog left out in the cold. N. 4th / State Sts., La Conner.

Friday, December 31

7:25 p.m.: One of many – Car vs power pole non-injury motor vehicle accident. The vehicle lost control on the icy roadway. Dodge Valley / Chilberg Rds., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, January 1

9:15 p.m.: True words spoken – Deputies investigated a car vs ditch motor vehicle accident. There were two occupants in the car that were un-injured. The driver said they had slid on the icy roadway. McLean / La Conner Whitney Rds., Greater La Conner.

10:35 p.m.: One more – Report of one vehicle stuck in a snow drift in the ditch and a second vehicle stuck in a snow drift in the roadway. Flats / La Conner Whitney Rds., Greater La Conner.

12:00 a.m.: Fingers crossed – Numerous reports of fireworks, shouting, corks popping, kissing and hugging. Widespread, Greater La Conner.

Sunday, January 2

4:39 a.m.: Helped out – Caller reported he was stuck in a snow drift. The caller called back and said a passerby pulled him from the snowbank. Dodge Valley / Chilberg Rds., Greater La Conner.

10:17 a.m.: Dog watch – Caller wanted to report his neighbor leaving his Bernese Mountain Dog tied to a rope in the snow. The caller wanted this documented for when he speaks to Animal Control. N. 4th / State Sts., La Conner.
