Tuesday, November 30

3:57 p.m.: Bad car deal – Caller reported a motor vehicle taken without permission. The caller said he sold the vehicle to a friend on payments and now the friend has quit paying him. S. 4th St., La Conner.

4:35 p.m.: Five finger discount – Caller reported a theft from their outside sales rack of the store. Deputies were able to get surveillance video of the suspect. Investigation continuing. A clothing store, S. 1st St., La Conner.

8:19 p.m.: Raising dust – Caller reported people doing “doughnuts” under the bridge at the boat launch. Swinomish Tribal units were in the area and were Unable to Locate. Boat Launch Rd., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, December 2

10:15 a.m.: 3 cars prowled – Caller reported three employee vehicles broken into. The caller has video footage. Investigation continuing. A boatworks, Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

10:28 a.m.: Almost a theft – Caller reported an attempted theft of a kicker motor. The motor was not actually stolen. Josh Green Ln., Bay View.

Friday, December 3

3:18 p.m.: Old cold call – Report of a cold hit and run boat accident that occurred between Nov. 1-14. The accident occurred while the boat was moored. The caller also reported $600 worth of crab pots were stolen on a separate incident. A marina., N. 2nd St., La Conner.

Saturday, December 4

12:07 p.m.: Rutted out – Caller reported that a vehicle had left the roadway and ran into one of their blueberry planters. The vehicle was no longer on scene and only left some ruts in the field. A farm, Chilberg Rd., La Conner.

Sunday, December 5

7:09 p.m.: Good deed punished – Caller reported a male that he had given a ride to had stolen a piece of jewelry from his vehicle. Investigation continuing. Maple Ave., La Conner.

9:33 p.m.: Surprised at store – Caller reported he was forced to defend himself when he was charged by a subject in front of the store. The suspect never called 911. Deputies checked the area for the suspect, Unable to Locate. A market, Morris St., La Conner.

Monday, December 6

8:15 a.m.: No hundreds dead here – Caller reported hundreds of dead animals behind the barn. Deputies responded and did not locate any dead animals. Animal control was also notified. Fir Island Rd., Conway.
