This year the La Conner Rotary Club is bringing back an old favorite – the Santa Breakfast. Add a craft fair the same day and selfie photo opportunities at the boardwalk gazebo, and you have a formula for fun.
The ever-popular Santa Breakfast will be held 8:30-11a.m. Dec. 4 at Maple Hall. Come join us for eggs, sausage and pancakes. Santa will be there for photos with families and/or pets. We will help you take photos of your loved ones using your own cell phone, no waiting for us to send you finished prints. Our thanks in advance to the high school volunteers who will be helping us.
New this year is a craft fair at the Santa Breakfast put on by La Conner United, with all the service clubs working together. The craft fair hours are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the bar/entrance area and the upstairs room at Maple Hall. It is a great place for Christmas shopping. Odds are good you will find the perfect presents for everyone on your list, and you can feel good about supporting local crafts people.
You can take selfie photos in the gazebo along the boardwalk starting Dec. 1. Our selfie holiday banners will be up by then so you can pose with a cheery background for your annual holiday photo.
Individual club members will support five families selected by SPARC, a local nonprofit helping families with special needs children, as we do every year. The members donate their own money to buy clothes and presents for all the members of the families and provide food for a holiday dinner.
