Monday, October 18

4:24 p.m.: Ounce of prevention– Caller wanted to discuss safety measures that could be taken at Padilla Bay Trail south parking area. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

Tuesday, October 19

10:51 a.m.: Harvest/rainy season – Caller concerned about mud being left on the roadway by farm trucks leaving the fields. McLean / La Conner Whitney Rds., Greater La Conner.

Wednesday, October 20

12:13 p.m.: Power tools unplugged – Caller reported a burglary of power tools from their carport. Valentine Rd., Greater La Conner.

3:24 p.m.: Shot clear through – Deputies responded to a report of a broken vehicle window. Deputies determined the window had been broken with a BB or pellet gun. Investigation continuing. Maple Ave., La Conner.

4:28 p.m.: Computer scam – Caller reported a message that appeared on his computer that told him to call a phone number to fix the computer problem. The caller said the party at the phone number was asking questions about his bank account. The caller was advised to stop any contact with the other party and to report this to the FBI via their website. Valentine Rd., Greater La Conner.

5:15 p.m.: Road rage – Deputies responded to a report of a male standing next to a bicycle, yelling at passing cars. Deputies were unable to locate him.. McLean / Bradshaw Rds., Greater La Conner.

11:16 p.m.: Ride request fulfilled – Deputies contacted a subject at the La Conner Tavern who was requesting a ride home. Deputies determined the subject had warrants for his arrest and was transported to the Skagit County Community Justice Center. S. 1st St., La Conner.

Thursday, October 21

10:06 a.m.: Barking dog – Animal Control responded to a report of an animal locked in a residence barking for the past several hours. Animal Control re-contacted the caller who advised the animal owners had returned home and there was no longer a need to respond. Valentine Rd., Greater La Conner.

11:15 a.m.: Prowler scored – Caller reported her window was broken and her purse stolen while on a walk. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

Friday, October 22

1:50 p.m.: Left behind – Caller reported an abandoned trailer dumped on their property. Caledonia / S. 3rd Sts., La Conner.

4:39 p.m.: Farmers roll on – Caller reported mud on the roadway. The caller was concerned about small cars passing through the area. Public Works was notified. McLean / La Conner Whitney Rds., Greater La Conner.

7:57 p.m.: Didn’t get far – Caller cut a corner with his motor home and sunk into the shoulder of the roadway. Dodge Valley Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:16 p.m.: Too much fun – Caller complained of loud music coming from a live band. Ongoing problem. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, October 23

1:13 p.m.: Didn’t see it – Report of a disabled vehicle on a blind corner. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate it. Pioneer Park, S. 4th St. La Conner.

1:55 p.m.: Trick, not treat – Caller reported personal items stolen from their porch. Maple Ave., La Conner.
