1:09 p.m.: Trash call – Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious package on the side of the roadway. Deputies inspected the packager and determined it was dumped garbage. Young Rd., Greater La Conner.

2:45 p.m.: Five finger discount – Caller reported a theft of a $90 hanging basket from in front of her business. S. 1st St., La Conner.

Tuesday, September 28

2:12 p.m.: What it is – Report of an abandoned vehicle. Deputies marked the vehicle as abandoned. Whatcom St., La Conner.

Wednesday, September 29

10:17 a.m.: Farm to market road – Report of mud on the roadway. Deputies advised Public Works of the complaint. La Conner Whitney / McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, September 30

3:49 p.m.: Blowing in wind – Report of roundabout sign leaning in the wind. Public Works notified. Best / McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

Friday, October 1

3:07 p.m.: Afternoon weaver – Report of a blue GMC with severe lane travel. Best / McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, October 2

1:10 a.m.: Starting early – Caller reported a theft. This was determined to be a juvenile issue. An antique store, Morris St., La Conner.

Sunday, October 3

8:55 p.m.: Roads blocked – Deputies responded to a two car, blocking MVA. Best / Dodge Valley Rds., Greater La Conner.

Monday, October 4

1:52 a.m.: Ghost story? – Caller reported a female yelling at a male in the passengers’ seat of a parked car. Deputies arrived in the area and found the car empty.
