Monday, August 31

10:25 a.m.: Broken window policing – Caller reported a cold vehicle prowl. Window broken out of vehicle, nothing missing. Josh Green Lane., Greater La Conner.

6:06 p.m.: Check I.D. – Caller reported check fraud. The checks were written from a stolen checkbook. Morris St., La Conner.

Wednesday, September 1

9:23 a.m.: Twice thieving – Caller reported subjects from an occupied vehicle in the parking lot broke the rear window of another employee’s car. The caller had taken a picture of the suspects’ license plates, which returned to a stolen vehicle out of Burlington. Padilla Bay Research Reserve, Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.

11:45 a.m.: On the prowl – Caller reported a vehicle prowl. A window was broken and a bag with a lap top was stolen. Padilla Bay dike parking, Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.

8:39 p.m.: Hit and saved – Caller reported they had struck a cat while driving. The caller was able to locate the owners and recover the cat. Summers Ct. / Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:13 p.m.: Hole left behind – A subject cut a hole in the fence surrounding the caller’s property. Deputies arrived and could not locate the suspect. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, September 2

11:18 a.m.: Left behind – Caller reported a junk vehicle on their property. The caller was referred to the Health Department for a junk vehicle inspection. Valentine Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:44 p.m.: Cold comfort – Caller reported a cold animal problem. This was referred to Animal Control. Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.

3:08 p.m.: Not spare part – Caller reported a part stolen from his vehicle. S. 2nd St., La Conner.

Sunday, September 4

2:35 p.m.: Dangerous intersection – Deputies responded to a three car accident. The causing driver was deceased on scene and Washington State Patrol handled the investigation. Farm to Market / Josh Wilson Rds., Bay View.

3:37 p.m.: Local window broken – Caller reported malicious mischief. His rear window was broken sometime overnight. Maple Ave., La Conner.

Monday, September 5

7:56 a.m.: Parked and ran – Caller reported an RV in Pioneer Park that shouldn’t be there. Deputies who checked the area were unable to locate it. S. 4th St., La Conner.

9:02 a.m.: Gun and rod – Caller reported a gunshot was fired in his direction while fishing. Suspect was parked in the area when deputies responded. Bay View Edison Rd., Edison.
