Marty Pease new Rotary president

Marty Pease is the new president of the Rotary Club of La Conner, starting July 1, taking over from Christi King.

Other members of the club’s leadership team for 2021-22 are: Adam McGarity, president-elect; Connie Milliken, vice president; Christi King; past president; Pam Narron, secretary; Don Wolf, treasurer; David Tracy, foundation president; Pam Narron, foundation vice president; Carol Johnson; youth service director; Karen Ryan, international service director; Jerry Willins, club service director; Patsy Good, community service director; Audrey Gravley, vocational service/literacy director and Danielle Mullen, membership co-chair.

Their August annual fundraising auction will again be virtual, opening at 12 p.m. Aug. 24 and continuing through the virtual live auction, 6:45 p.m. Aug. 25. Its theme is “Harvesting Hope for La Conner Students, Local Families, Local Communities, and Projects Abroad.”

The club meets most Mondays at 5:45 p.m. at the Farmhouse. Non-members are welcome.
