Monday, April 5

1:37 p.m.: Stash found – Public works staff located a black plastic container containing several rolled cigarettes and one suspected marijuana cigarette. S. 1st St., La Conner.

5:04 p.m.: Business break-in – Caller reported a burglary over the weekend. Cash and other items were removed from the business. Morris St., La Conner.

5:19 p.m.: No fooling – Caller reported several robo calls stating she has a federal warrant. Caller was advised to block the number and report it to IC3.gov. Maple Ave., La Conner.

Tuesday, April 6

7:16 p.m.: Turned self in – Caller called to turn himself in on his outstanding warrants. Deputies responded and booked the caller into the Skagit County Community Justice Center on his warrants. Morris St., La Conner.

9:49 p.m.: Open carefully – Caller called to report a cold two car non-injury MVA. The caller said she opened her door into traffic and a passing vehicle struck her door. Commercial / S. 2nd Sts., La Conner.

Wednesday, April 7

9:07 a.m.: Evidence abounds – Caller noticed a vehicle in their parking lot early in the morning with trash strewn around it. The caller also noticed some damage to a nearby tree and suspected it came from the vehicle. When deputies arrived, the vehicle was gone. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

Friday, April 9

9:31 a.m.: Local rescue – Deputies responded to a CPR in progress. Prior to their arrival Medical units on scene advised deputies could disregard. Beaver Marsh / Calhoun Rds., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, April 10

10:06 a.m.: Not anymore – Report of a vehicle swerving on the roadway and driving under the speed limit. Deputies located the vehicle and did not observe any traffic violations. Mclean / La Conner Whitney Rds., La Conner.

11:22 a.m.: Tulip traffic – Traffic back up on Mclean Rd at Bradshaw Rd due to tulip traffic. Deputies directed traffic in the intersection. Mclean / Bradshaw Rds., Greater La Conner.

Sunday, April 11

1:47 a.m.: Pajama rage – Caller reported a male in pajamas threatening to slap the caller. Suspect left prior to deputies arrival. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:52 p.m.: Hostile tourist – Caller reported a customer verbally threatening him, accusing the caller of watching him in the store. Morris St., La Conner.

2:55 p.m.: Tourist crossing – Caller concerned about people parking in the 50mph zone and walking across the street to take pictures of the tulip fields. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

3:06 p.m.: Stay vigilant – Caller reported numerous calls from someone pretending to be Amazon’s fraud department. They were telling the caller that their account had been hacked. No password or personal information was given to the scammers. Channel Drive., Greater La Conner.
