Monday, March 22

12:22 p.m.: Bad dog owner – Report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. Deputies checked, but were unable to locate it. Bradshaw Rd. / Summers Dr., Greater La Conner.

1:34 p.m.: Eager learner – Caller reported a student was able to invite a non-student to a school Zoom class. The school will be working on tightening up security restrictions on Zoom classes. N. 6th St., La Conner.

7:50 p.m.: Burglary attempt – Caller reported an attempted burglary at his shop. No entry made or items taken. N. 3rd St., La Conner.

Wednesday, March 24

2:44 p.m.: Man’s best friend – Caller picked up a loose black lab. The owner was found and the dog returned. Calhoun / Best Rds., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, March 25

8:36 a.m.: Stay over – County Parks requested a motorhome be trespassed that was camping in the trail head parking area. Deputies contacted the occupants who said they will have the motorhome removed by the afternoon. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

2:00 p.m.: Stay now over – Deputies checked on a report of an abandoned motorhome that had been reported earlier. The motorhome was gone upon their arrival. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

Friday, March 26

9:40 a.m.: Inside job – Caller reported three vandalism incidents in the marina bathrooms this past week. The bathrooms are only accessed by guest codes. N. 2nd St., La Conner.

2:18 p.m.: Within the lines – Report of 10 cars parked over the fog line causing a traffic hazard. Deputies responded and there was only one car left and it was not over the fog line or a hazard. A nursery, Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

3:06 p.m.: Small animal problem – Caller reported a Chihuahua running in the street. McLean / Beaver Marsh Rds., Greater La Conner.

4:27 p.m.: Not fooled – Caller reported phone scams. Caledonia St., La Conner.

Saturday, March 27

10:40 a.m.: Get I.D. first – Caller reported a phone scam. The caller was told they were from the Social Security Department and demanded their SSN and money. Kamb Rd., Greater La Conner.

1:20 p.m.: Honked away – Caller reported vehicles parked over the fog line. Deputies checked the area. All vehicles were gone on their arrival. Chilberg / Best Rds., Greater La Conner.

1:44 p.m.: Knife walker – Report of a male walking towards 1st Street on Morris St. holding a knife, not threatening anyone. Deputies made contacted the male regarding the complaint. Morris / N. 2nd Sts., La Conner.

2:40 p.m.: Motorcycle down – Deputies responded to a car vs motorcycle accident with injuries. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Skagit Valley Hospital. Witnesses reported the car took a left in front of the motorcycle and the motorcycle struck the vehicle. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

4:14 p.m.: Flocking north – Report of several vehicles parked on the roadway and people out taking pictures of the geese. The caller requested an area check and was concerned there could be an accident. SR 20 / Best Rds., Greater La Conner.
