Monday, March 8

6:30 p.m.: Sped away – Report of a speeding motorcycle. Deputies were unable to locate it. Calhoun Rd., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, March 9

12:09 p.m.: Broken into – Deputies responded to a burglary complaint. Deputies located a broken window and a rock inside the building. The caller was not sure if anything was taken and wanted a case number for their insurance. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

3:09 p.m.: Weaved away – Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle with erratic lane travel. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate it. McLean/ Best Rds., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, March 11

9:19 a.m.: Blown away – Report of a female sitting outside honking her horn. Deputies contacted the female and she left the area. S. 4th St, La Conner.

1:27 p.m.: Left hanging – Caller reported she left her purse hanging on the back of her chair while eating at the restaurant. S. 1st St., La Conner.

6:22 p.m.: Went which way? – Report of a pickup recklessly passing. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate it. La Conner Whitney / Chilberg Rds., La Conner.

Friday, March 12

12:53 a.m.: Bad combination – Deputies stopped a vehicle for a defective taillight. The driver was found to have several warrants for his arrest and no driver’s license. SR 536 / Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

8:35 a.m.: Clear evidence – Caller reported hearing several shots the night before but did not report it. The caller found several bullet holes in their greenhouse the next day. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, March 13

5:21 a.m.: Early morning threat – Report of a male that came into the store, took several pictures of the cashier, made some threatening statements then left. The male had been trespassed several days prior. Deputies were unable to locate the suspect. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:20 p.m.: Cars flocked together – Report of bird watchers parked on the roadway. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

1:19 p.m.: Signs of the times – Report of several hundred vehicles parked on the side of the road watching the geese. Deputies deployed several no parking signs. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

3:53 p.m.: Bullet shy – Report of a person shooting in their yard, making the neighbor uncomfortable. Deputies determined the backstop was not sufficient and told the person to stop shooting until it could be re-enforced. Dry Slough Rd., Conway.
