Monday, March 1

1:29 p.m.: Can’t go back – Deputies responded to a possible vehicle prowl. Deputies contacted the suspect and determined there had been no crime. The suspect was issued a trespass admonishment from the Farmhouse Inn. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, March 2

5:53 a.m.: Not the first time – Complaint of speeding vehicles on 3rd street. N. 3rd St., La Conner.

2:08 p.m.: Another speeder – Deputies responded to a report of a Porsche speeding on Fir Island Rd. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate it. Fir Island / Wylie Rds., Conway.

Wednesday, March 3

4:21 p.m.: Not suspicious now – Report of a suspicious person walking in the parking lot carrying a metal bar. Deputies contacted the person in the restaurant, who was not causing any problems. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

5:55 p.m.: Almost bacon – Deputies responded to a pig in the roadway. Caller called back and advised they had located the owner. Bay View Edison / Leatherwood Rds., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, March 4

7:57 p.m.: Drive carefully always – Washington State Patrol requested assistance with a wrong way driver. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, March 5

7:59 a.m.: Called home – Town hall turned over a found cell phone. Deputies located the owner and returned the phone. Douglas St., La Conner.

2:51 p.m.: Better not drink now – Deputies stopped a speeding driver. Driver was cited for driving with a suspended driver’s license. Edison Inn, Edison.

4:07 p.m.: Suspicious self-bagger – Report of a suspicious male carrying a bag and being non-communicative with employee. Deputies checked the area for the male after leaving the store, but were unable to locate him. S. 1st St, La Conner.

4:21 p.m.: Texting DUI – Report of a possible DUI driver. Deputies called the owner of the vehicle, who said their son drives the car and has a history of texting while driving. Parent said they will resolve the matter with their son. McLean / Best Rds., Greater La Conner.

6:40 p.m.: Seller scammed – Caller called to report he sold his cell phone and the buyer started sending inappropriate pictures and may have hacked his electronic accounts. S. 3rd St., La Conner.

Saturday, March 6

11:46 a.m.: Tanks for the memories – Caller reported two 20 lb. BBQ tanks stolen. Investigation continuing. Pearle Jensen Wy., La Conner.

Sunday, March 7

4:35 a.m.: Ended well – Caller reported her boyfriend was overdue after an argument at a tavern. She called back later and said her boyfriend had returned. An inn, S. 2nd St, La Conner.

12:37 p.m.: Birds still here – Traffic problem due to people parking on private property to look at the birds. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

2:22 p.m.: Fender bender – Caller was backed into at the Talking Fields farm access. The caller exchanged information with the other involved party. Fir Island Rd., Conway.
