Monday, Feb. 8

11:59 a.m.: Late prowl call – Caller reported a cold vehicle prowl. Caller said his debit card was stolen. Park St., La Conner.

Wednesday, Feb. 10

4:28 p.m.: Con call – Caller reported being called by a scammer claiming to be with the sheriff’s office, saying she had a warrant. The caller gave the scammer no information and hung up. Channel Lane, Greater La Conner.

8:30 p.m.: Caller suspicious – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the Rexville Grange parking lot. Deputies contacted the vehicle. The driver was just listening to music. Rexville Grange Rd., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, Feb. 11

9:38 a.m.: Late to scene – Deputies contacted an abandoned vehicle with the window broken out and the stereo missing. The vehicle was confirmed as a stolen vehicle out of the Mount Vernon PD. Main Street, Conway.

9:44 a.m.: Double trouble – Caller reported her vehicle with a smashed window and damage to its lock. S. 1st St., La Conner. Read story, page 2.

12:57 p.m.: Late to crime – Caller reported a vehicle with a smashed window. S. 1st St., La Conner.

2:08 p.m.: Theft – Caller reported a bad check. A flower farm, Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

7:59 p.m.: Neighbor on alert – Caller reported a vehicle parked in an alley with no license plates. Deputies contacted the vehicle which had a temporary plate. The vehicle owner lived nearby. S. 2nd St., La Conner.

Friday, Feb. 12

9:56 p.m.: A mom shopping? – Caller reported an occupied vehicle parked in the same place for over an hour. The caller requested the vehicle move along. A market, Morris St., La Conner.

10:54 p.m.: Dog watcher – Caller concerned about two dogs left in the back of a truck due to the cold weather. Deputies contacted the dog’s owner and he left with the dogs. An inn, N. 1st St., La Conner.

Sunday, Feb. 14

1:12 a.m.: Storm damage – Deputies removed a tree that had fallen over the roadway on Pioneer Parkway at the Rainbow Bridge. Pioneer Pkwy., La Conner.

8:12 a.m.: Sad Valentine’s Day – Caller reported two rings stolen from her hotel room. An inn, Maple Ave., La Conner.

9:57 a.m.: Stuck in snow, too – Caller reported white truck broken down on their neighbors’ property for the last two days. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

4:11 p.m.: Bridge closed – Caller reported a large tree over the roadway. Pioneer Pkwy. / Rainbow Bridge, La Conner.
