Monday, Jan. 18

11:55 a.m.: No fooling – Caller reported a delivery driver who was requesting upfront payment for delivering local goods. The caller said this is not normal and wanted to report it. The caller did not pay the driver. Skagit City Rd., Conway.

12:01 p.m.: Slipped away – Caller reported his plastic storage shed and contents stolen from his slip at the La Conner Marina. N. 2nd St., La Conner.

Tuesday, Jan. 19

10:17 p.m.: Not all cracked up – Deputies responded to an alarm call. The alarm company said they were listening through the alarm system and heard banging and glass breaking. Deputies arrived and located a juvenile skateboarding and no damage. A school, N. 6th St., La Conner.

Wednesday, Jan. 20

6:36 a.m.: Early watcher – Caller reported a Ford truck driving slowly in the area. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate it. Fir Island / Dry Slough Rds., Conway.

5:31 p.m.: Other Washington? – Caller received a scam call. The caller said they were from the government and the caller would be arrested if they hung up. The caller hung up and was not arrested. Deputies tried to call the number back and it was a non-working number. La Conner Whitney Rd., La Conner.

Thursday, Jan. 21

6:05 p.m.: Common complaint – Caller reported a speeding vehicle that passes by on their roadway several times a day. McLean / Bradshaw Rds., Greater La Conner.

Friday, Jan. 22

3:01 p.m.: Call Town Hall – Caller reported a barking dog. The caller was referred to town hall for follow up. Center St., La Conner.

7:33 p.m.: Being careful – Caller reported being on a walk with a friend and believed a man in a reflective vest was following them. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate anyone. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

8:04 p.m.: Removed herself – Caller requested a removal of a female loitering in the area. The female was gone when deputies arrived. N. 1st St., La Conner.

Saturday, Jan. 23

1:08 p.m.: Flocked together – Report of people parking on the roadway and in the no-parking zones to watch the geese. Fir Island / Maupin Rds., Conway.

Sunday, Jan. 24

3:33 p.m.: Noises off – Caller reported a car alarm that had been going off all day. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate it. Caledonia / S. 3rd Sts., La Conner.

Monday, Jan. 25

9:20 a.m.: Good timing – Deputies recovered a lost phone and wallet. Deputies answered the phone when it rang and it was the owner, who was trying to locate it. The property was returned to a friend of the owner for safe keeping. Morris / N. 1st Sts., La Conner.
