Monday, Dec. 14

3:45 p.m.: Ducks and cover – Report of duck hunters in the area possibly hitting a residence. The call was transferred to Wash. Department of Fish and Wildlife. Rawlins Rd., Conway.

Tuesday, Dec. 15

1:39 p.m.: Slept tight – Hotel reported that a guest left a firearm under a pillow. The guest was on their way to pick up the firearm. N. 1st St., La Conner.

Wednesday, Dec. 16

11:31 a.m.: Junk left behind – Request for assistance with a junk vehicle. Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

4:26 p.m.: After the fact – Report of a theft from a gas station that was not in progress. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

4:54 p.m.: More junk left – Request for assistance with a junk vehicle. Ring Ln., La Conner.

Saturday, Dec. 19

8:41 a.m.: Lost in the country – Report of a male on the roadway. Deputies contacted the male who was lost and trying to get back to Mount Vernon. Deputies provided a courtesy transport. Summers Dr. / Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:58 p.m.: Wrong way driving – Report of a vehicle driving the wrong way. Deputies arrived and located the vehicle and driver. The driver was taken into custody for DUI. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Sunday, Dec. 20

8:26 a.m.: Fast exit – Report of a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed in the area. Deputies responded and conducted traffic enforcement in the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. Dry Slough Rd., Greater La Conner.

Monday, Dec. 21

2:01 a.m.: Not jolly elf – Report of a male in baggy jeans and baggy jacket walking through the reporting party’s yard. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate anyone. Fir Island Rd., Conway.
