Tuesday, September 15

10:37 a.m.: On the Road – Abandoned vehicle complaint. Deputies contacted the owner who said it had broken down and he would be making arrangements to remove it. Road St., La Conner.

11:23 a.m.: Summer’s last roar – Complaint about speeding vehicles and vehicles with loud mufflers. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

10:41 p.m.: Sounded the alarm – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in her driveway. The caller activated her car alarm and the vehicle sped away. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

11:41 p.m.: Bad report – Report of a partially blocking vehicle. Deputies contacted the vehicle that was pulling into a business. Kamb / McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

Wednesday, September 16

7:40 a.m.: Dirty tricks, again – Caller reported people in her front yard attempting to tear down a political sign. Deputies arrived to find a strap left behind and the sign frame damaged. The suspects were gone. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, September 18

1:05 a.m.: Stuck then struck – Car vs train motor vehicle accident. Vehicle became stuck on the RR tracks and a slow moving train struck the back of the vehicle. No injuries reported. SR 20 / Farm to Market Rd., Greater La Conner.

3:07 a.m.: Stolen, not raptured – Caller reported their vehicle stolen sometime overnight. The caller still had the ignition keys. The vehicle was designated as stolen. Park St., La Conner.

4:09 a.m.: Given green light – Caller reported a green laser being shined on their house. Deputies checked the area and could not locate where the laser had come from. S. 4th St., La Conner.

10:45 p.m.: Turned off – Caller reported loud music, possibly from a vehicle. The music stopped prior to deputies’ arrival. Deputies were unable to locate its source. Conner Way, La Conner.

Saturday, September 19

11:15 a.m.: Rattling around – Report of a male customer in the business acting disorderly and waving pans around. The suspect left prior to deputies’ arrival. Morris St., La Conner.

5:23 p.m.: Corn harvester – Caller reported a vehicle parked in a corn field with its trunk open. The caller thought the vehicle may be trying to steal corn. The vehicle was gone when deputies arrived. La Conner Whitney Rd., La Conner.

7:34 p.m.: Crime pattern – Caller reported a cold vehicle prowl. The victim said his window was smashed out, but nothing was taken. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

7:47 p.m.: Help on way – Report of an overturned kayaker. Parks Department launched two boats to respond. Deception Pass Bridge.

Sunday, September 20

10:55 a.m.: Turn it down – Dispute between two brothers over playing loud music. S. 4th St., La Conner.

4:33 p.m.: More than yelling needed – Caller reported that he had yelled at a speeding vehicle, the driver rolled his window down and threatened the caller. The caller said he did not feel threatened and simply wanted the incident documented. S. 3rd St., La Conner.

Monday, September 21

2:01 a.m.: Night walker – Caller reported someone walked down her driveway shining a flashlight. The caller shined a light on the person and they left. Deputies were unable to locate anyone. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.
