Monday, August 24

10:13 a.m.: Happens weekly – Political signs stolen. Dodge Valley Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:21 p.m.: Resident or tourist? – Yellow dog with no tags running loose by the public restrooms. N. 3rd / Morris Sts., La Conner.

4:53 p.m.: High, dry, legal – Report of a boat parked and obstructing the view of traffic. Deputies located a legally parked boat that did not present a traffic hazard. McLean / Beaver Marsh Rds., Greater La Conner.

7:39 p.m.: Overly vigilant – Caller reporting a white truck trespassing on the dike. Deputies contacted the vehicle owner who said her brother was driving the truck and using the service road to access one of their fields. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, August 25

10:45 a.m.: Checking in – Caller received a suspicious call wanting to know how much money was in the cash register. A tavern, S. 1st St., La Conner.

Wednesday, August 26

2:20 p.m.: Called the experts – Caller wanted information on how to dispose of an abandoned vehicle on his property. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

8:37 p.m.: Dangerous intersection – Two vehicle, non-injury motor vehice accident. Vehicle #1 ran the stop sign traveling eastbound Josh Wilson Rd and struck vehicle #2 traveling northbound Farm to Market Rd. Bay View.

Thursday, August 27

1:39 a.m.: Drink does this – Deputies responded to a citizen assist request where the caller said heneeded to go to the hospital but refused aid. The subject stated his armpits smelled and he could not sleep. When deputies arrived, they found the caller to be intoxicated and he just wanted to go to sleep. The caller refused any assistance from deputies. S. 1st St., La Conner.

8:05 a.m.: Pipes out of joint – Report of a water line break. Center St., La Conner.

2:56 p.m.: Twice in two weeks – Report of spray paint “tagging” on Maple Hall. Commercial St., La Conner.

Friday, August 28

7:23 a.m.: Dogs gone – Report of barking dogs. Deputies checked the area around noon and did not hear any barking. S. 4th St., La Conner.

8:47 a.m.: Lease needs rewriting – Caller reporting neighbor who lives on the same property was walking around her house and was not supposed to be near the house. Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:31 a.m.: Cause? Motive? – Caller reporting two dead dogs at the water line near the boat launch. Animal Control was notified. Boat launch, Dike Rd, Conway.

2:34 p.m.: Traffic Hazard – Report of a large pot hole in the roadway. Public Works notified. SR 20 / Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, August 29

11:54 a.m.: Which unmasked man? – Report of a verbal altercation between two males. The caller said the altercation was over the other male not wearing a mask. Deputies checked the area for the other male, but were unable to locate him. S. 1st St., La Conner.

5:30 p.m.: Not polite, either – Deputies investigated a hit and run motor vehicle accident. A neighbor noticed the damage earlier in the day. No note was left behind by the suspect driver. S. 3rd St., La Conner.

Sunday, August 30

2:52 p.m.: Rules and consequences – Caller requested a customer be removed for refusing to wear a mask in the business. Deputies contacted the suspect in the parking lot and trespassed him from the business. A bar, Fir Island Rd, Conway.

5:27 p.m.: Not anymore – Report of a suspicious vehicle parked under the museum. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate it. A museum, S. 1st St., La Conner.

Monday, August 31

9:54 a.m.: Some distraction – Public Work employee found car keys, phone and sunglasses in Pioneer Park. Items were dropped off at town hall for deputies to pick up. S. 4th St., La Conner.
