It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that long-time Harris Harvey Gallery artist Ed Kamuda passed away from natural causes on July 31. We will miss Ed’s quick smile, unassuming nature and dedication to his consummate work.

Kamuda’s final solo exhibition at Harris Harvey Gallery, “Above and Below,” was held last October. The artist’s oil paintings, layered with a palette knife and finished with wax, employ simplified shapes and calligraphic marks to convey the essence of the landscape and its power within the human experience.
