Monday, August 3

4:13 p.m.: Wove away – Report of a pickup with a camper weaving on the road. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate it. La Conner Whitney / McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, August 4

11:17 a.m.: Not now – Report of a white truck driving on the wrong side of the roadway. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate it. Penn / Calhoun Rds., Greater La Conner.

1:34 p.m.: Got away – Report of a truck stepping on the gas and kicking up rocks behind the caller’s house. Deputies later located the vehicle unoccupied. Tillinghast Dr. La Conner.

Wednesday, August 5

9:41 a.m.: Got away 2 – Report of a vehicle speeding and passing unsafely. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate it. Best / McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

10:20 a.m.: Donut makers – Caller reported vehicles spinning “donuts” in the school parking lot. No vehicle descriptions or license plates provided. The caller said it is an ongoing problem. N. 6th St. / Tillinghast Dr., La Conner.

11:20 a.m.: One lane down – Report of a two car motor vehicle accident blocking one lane. Best Rd. / Bountiful Ln. Greater La Conner.

2:40 p.m.: Robbed – Caller reporting a vehicle prowl. She said her window was broken and her purse was taken. Her credit card was used at a Home Depot. Deputies are continuing the investigation. Rawlins Rd, Conway.

Thursday, August 6

5:08 p.m.: Long way to go – Report of a male standing by the RR tracks. Deputies contacted the a male who was walking to Eastern Washington. Deputies provided a courtesy transport to Burlington. State SR 20, Bayview.

Friday, August 7

5:02 p.m.: Political rant – Deputies spoke with a male who wanted to express his concerns about government corruption within the WHO. The same person wanted to contact the FBI for national security issues. Deputies were able to calm the person down so he could express his views. S. 1st St., La Conner.

Saturday, August 8

8:20 a.m.: Protecting democracy – Caller reporting that her political sign was vandalized. Caller advised deputies that she had video of the incident. Extra patrol checks were requested. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:33 p.m.: Not for long – Report of a short haired white dog in and out of traffic. Bradshaw / McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

10:36 p.m.: Yard/road work – Report of a tree blocking the roadway. Deputies moved the branches from the roadway. SR 20 / Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

Sunday, August 9

1:02 p.m.: Mask up, dammit – Report of a male who refused to wear his mask in the store and refused to leave. The male left prior to deputies’ arrival. La Conner Whitney Road., Greater La Conner.

Monday, August 10

6:50 a.m.: Bad owner – Report of two dogs chasing cars. Animal Control Office contacted the dog owner and cautioned him about his dogs running in the roadway. SR 20 / Avon Allen Rd., Greater La Conner.
