Monday, July 27

12:58 a.m.: Wobbled away – Report of an erratically driven truck. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate it. Fir Island / Wylie Rds, Conway.

Tuesday, July 28

8:52 a.m.: Dirty tricks – Caller reported vandalism to a campaign sign in her front yard. This is the third time this particular sign has been vandalized. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:14 a.m.: Couldn’t phone home – Caller reported she had lost her phone, but was able to use GPS tracking and it showed to be in the area of Farm to Market Rd and Marihugh Rd. Deputies checked the area and several houses in the area and were unable to locate the phone. Farm to Market / Marihugh Rds., Bay View.

12:40 p.m.: Crack of the whip – Caller reported she was struck with a horse whip by a resident that lives on her property. Deputies determined the other involved party was working her horse, using the whip to direct her horse, when the caller got in the path of the horse. The other party used the crack of the whip to re-direct the horse away from the caller and possibly made slight contact with the caller. Deputies did not see any injuries to the caller, this issue is stemming from an ongoing civil issue. Both parties agreed to be more civil to each other going forward. Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:19 p.m.: Documenting white privilege – Caller reported a dark colored coupe had driven by him and he was mocked out the car window. The caller did not have a license plate or any further description. The caller just wanted the incident documented. N. 1st St., La Conner.

9:49 p.m.: Banned locally – Caller reported a male carrying a skateboard was trying doors of vehicles in the parking lot. Deputies contacted the suspect in the parking lot and trespassed him from the property. N. 1st St., La Conner.

Wednesday, July 29

5:15 a.m.: Cold call – Goodyear Police Department requested deputies pass on an emergency message to a subject. Deputies determined the subject no longer lived in the area. State St., La Conner.

2:59 p.m.: Memory problem – Deputies responded to a boat alarm. Deputies contacted the boat owner who said no one should be on the boat. Deputies contacted a male subject on the boat who said he had permission from the owner to be there doing work. Deputies re-contacted the owner who had forgot about the work being done that day on his boat and confirmed the person had permission to be there. Pearle Jensen Wy., La Conner.

Thursday, July 30

2:08 p.m.: No safe place – Deputies investigated a cold vehicle prowl. The caller said he had parked his locked car in Conway overnight and when he returned his vehicle was unlocked and items were missing. Deputies are continuing the investigation. A pub, Main St, Conway.

Friday, July 31

1:18 a.m.: Kids at night – Report of juveniles being loud in the parking lot. Deputies contacted the juveniles and advised them of the complaint. The juveniles went inside the residence after being talked to. Park St., Greater La Conner.

10:53 a.m.: Grand(ma) con – Caller reporting a phone scam where someone called pretending to be her grandson and in danger. The caller did not give any money and wanted the Sheriff’s Office to be aware of the call. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

11:26 a.m.: Overly suspicious – Caller reporting a suspicious motorhome that was parked on the street. The caller said the plates had been switched on the vehicle. Deputies contacted the motorhome and found the owners lived in the area. N. 6th St. / Tillinghast Dr., La Conner.

Saturday, August 1

8:08 a.m.: Trail cold – Caller reported a cold vehicle prowl while walking at Padilla Bay Trail. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

Monday, August 3

1:45 a.m.: Sasquatch? – Caller reported hearing someone breaking branches in their yard. Deputies checked the property. but were unable to locate anything. Mann Rd, Conway.
