Your editorial sounded like a disgruntled Clinton supporter searching for a way for Vice President. Joe Biden to win. The truth is our Founders (you know the ones whose statues are being torn down by “peaceful” far left protesters) created the Electoral College to ensure that all state residents were represented fairly. They did not think it would be fair for a few densely populated areas to speak for the whole nation. There are 3,141 counties in the U.S. and Trump won 3,084 of them. Abolishing the electoral college would in effect negate the vote of people living in all but 57 of the 3,141 countries.

About 10% of people are peacefully protesting nationally and less than 1% of them are rioting. The silent 90% will be heard in November using the system created by our founders to settle disagreements peacefully.

I fully support the weeding out of the few truly racist police who abuse their authority but do not support the destruction of public and private property.

Thanks for letting me respond. It is getting so in most mainstream media the rule is “Free speech for Me but not for Thee.”
