Kirsch property next steps

The listing on the Kirsch property expired on Sept. 30. It has received adequate exposure to the market. I hope the Town Council will now seriously examine what it will take to make it an add-on to the Jordan Street park to the north. A rock wall on the harbor line with fill behind it would be nice.
If the Town Council is determined to sell it, let us hope that they will follow their own rules, spelled out in the La Conner Municipal Code, Chapter 3.70, Disposition of Real Property.
