I would like to thank everyone who voiced their opinion in last week’s paper, against this sad situation that we’re in!

I am also worried about the democracy in this country! It can be lost in no time, with the way things are going, and what do we do then?

These situations have been happening over and over again in history, read about it and you’ll know! See the signs that show the process, and don’t support someone who thinks he is above the law. Anyone in a political office needs to work for the people, not the other way around.

Look for the truth, it may be harder and harder to find in this situation, but it is there!

It is good to watch TV stations that make an effort to show the true situation. Check international news on TV or in newspapers. If you speak a second language, the better, but if not, even Canada and Great Britain with their English language often have a different take on things.

The political facts state that a president is usually safe in his job as long as the economy is good. But let’s wake up before there is a downturn, for all our sake. In the next few months you’ll see the effects of Trump’s tariffs. As small business owners we already see them.

It is sad that maybe only a bad economy will bring changes, and not realistic, critical thinking and the love for people and nature.
