Regarding Dick Nord’s letter to the editor last week: I agreed with everything he said, but not quite as strongly. I’m 90 years old and have been a strong 49er supporter from their start many years ago. They had a 20-year dynasty in the 70s and 80s, but it finally ended. It wasn’t until Colin Kaepernick came along and took the 49ers all the way back to the Super Bowl that their dignity was restored.
