Monday Sept 26

10:53 a.m.: Grass Bandit – A grass trimmer was stolen from an unlocked garage onCaledonia Street in La Conner, sometime within three days before the report.

2:41 p.m.: Big Ticket! – A citation for driving with a suspended license was handed out to a 43-year-old woman onFourth Street in La Conner.

Tuesday Sept 27

7:52 a.m.: Tired Runaway – A 15-year-old girl was found sleeping atPioneerPark in La Conner, after being reported as a runaway, she was returned toSnohomishCounty.

9:15 a.m.: Can’t take a Compliment? – A La Conner resident reported that the day before, a teenager walked by theirMaple Avenue home and commented to his wife how nice their landscaping looks.

3:56 p.m.: Welfare Check – A 33-year-old woman was having a mental breakdown onMorris Street in La Conner. She asked for and received a ride to the hospital.

Wednesday Sept 28

11:55 a.m.: Burglary – A house onSecond Street in La Conner was burglarized. There was no evidence of forced entry. Two TVs were stolen and there are no suspects.

Thursday Sept 29

6:54 a.m.: Strange Car – There was a suspicious vehicle reported parked in theConwayElementary School parking lot. Investigation determined that the school has given permission for the vehicle to be parked there.

7:25 p.m.: Strange Camper – A truck camper was reported parked onSecond Street inConway; upon deputy arrival, the vehicle was gone.

8:19 p.m.: Train vs. car – An Amtrak train collided with a 2015 Mustang inConway that was driven by a 20-year-old man. The driver was transported toSkagitValleyHospital with unknown injuries.

Friday Sept 30

1:24 p.m.: Happy Hour – A 58-year-old man was found intoxicated onMorris Street in La Conner and was given a ride home.

4:52 p.m.: Help! – Boat owners were locked out of the gate to get to their boat at the La Conner Marina; a deputy assisted in getting them in.

5:06 p.m.: Odd – A woman was reported suspicious at the Pioneer Market in La Conner; she was contacted by deputies and was acting odd but not committing a crime.

8:21 p.m.: Drift away – A transient was asked to leave a room at the Hotel Planter in La Conner. The 38-year-old woman was given a ride out of town.

9:30 p.m.: Ghost Bang – A report of fireworks behind the Hotel Planter in La Conner. Deputies were unable to locate.

9:33 p.m.: Creepy – An employee was walking to her car from a La Conner restaurant and was followed by a suspicious man. Deputies checked the area, but the suspect was gone.

10:02 p.m.: Creepy II – The man from the previous call was now knocking on random doors at La Conner Channel Lodge. Deputies were unable to locate the man.

Saturday Oct 1

7:13 a.m.: Threat – A 62-year-old man was threatened while parked alongsideBest Road near Rexville. He didn’t know the other party or why he was so upset. Suspect was gone when deputies arrived and could not be found.

12:53 p.m.: Track it – an unlocked vehicle was entered the previous day onFirst Street in La Conner. A GPS unit, cell phone, and clothing were taken. There are no suspects.

3:08 p.m.: Move it! – Someone onDouglas Street in La Conner reported a vehicle blocking his driveway. Oops, it turned out the vehicle belonged to his landlord.

5:30 p.m.: Turn it down! – A report of loud music near the La Conner Marina. The music enthusiast was contacted and their music was turned down.

Sunday Oct 2

4 :24 p.m. : Mama to the rescue ! – There were children locked in a vehicle onMorris Street in La Conner. Mom broke the car window to gain access to her kids.
