Saturday Oct 10

10:36 a.m.: Catch & Release – Deputies recognized somebody with an outstanding arrest warrant at Pioneer Market in La Conner, but there was no room in the jail.

3:35 p.m.: Broken sign – Deputies had to prop up a broken stop sign at 2nd Street andWashington Ave. in La Conner.

Sunday Oct 11

7:42 a.m.: Odd find – A backpack with hypodermic needles and women’s clothing were found off the north end ofChannel Drive north of La Conner. There was nothing to identify the owner.

2:51 p.m.: Bad neighbor – A La Conner dog owner called to report that her pet ate a neighbor chicken.

Wednesday Oct 14

4:16 p.m.: Family fight – An upset family member kicked in the door to force a confrontation about something posted on social media, 900 blockMaple Ave., La Conner. This resulted in an arrest for burglary as well as charges for assault and malicious mischief for other damage caused.

Thursday Oct 15

11:40 a.m.: Traffic jam – Huge attendance at a funeral at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Conner caused traffic problems that the drivers worked out themselves.

8:02 p.m.: Catch & Release: Deputies caught another person with an outstanding arrest warrant, but the jail was too full to accept anyone.

Friday Oct 16

10:25 p.m.: Oops! – Someone onCenter Street in La Conner didn’t mean to dial 911.

Saturday Oct 17

12:06 p.m.: Found Wallet – Somebody left their wallet at Jenning’s Yarn Shop in La Conner.

10:17 p.m.: Noise – Neighbors weren’t appreciating the loud music at a family gathering at Maple Hall in La Conner.

11:07 p.m.: Fight – Things got out of hand at the Maple Hall family gathering and fisticuffs ensued.

Sunday Oct 18

3:41 p.m.: Lost passport – Somebody lost their passport somewhere in La Conner.
