Monday Dec 8

3:32 p.m.: Sweetheart scam – A La Conner resident who developed an online relationship with someone overseas smelled a rat when the new friend was asking for money.

10:56 p.m.: Suspicious – Deputies checking an unoccupied suspicious vehicle they were familiar with found an unlocked door at the church inConway where the vehicle was parked. Nothing was amiss inside the building.

Thursday Dec 11

2:58 p.m.: Honk! Crunch – A driver backing their vehicle up fromSixth Street onto Road Street in La Conner apparently didn’t hear the horn honking as the other driver tried to warn of the impending impact.

3:37 p.m.: Walk away – A teen student walked away from the bus asConwayElementary School was dismissed. He was almost home when deputies located him.

7:09 p.m.: Civil – A possible violation of a court ordered parenting plan occurred at a home in La Conner.

Friday Dec 12

7:42 p.m.: Kid fit – A family stopped to get some food at a business in Conway and one of their tween age children refused to get back into the car.

Saturday Dec 13

8:54 a.m.: “Scraggly” – Someone reported a suspicious van with a “scraggly” looking suspect inConway. Deputies couldn’t locate the vehicle or learn from the reporting party what was so suspicious about it.

Monday Dec 15

6:18 a.m.: Traffic hazard – Someone reported that a van was stopped in the middle of the road at La Conner Whitney and McLean roads. Deputies couldn’t locate the vehicle, so the situation must of resolved itself.
