Cyrus Betts, who will be in second grade come fall, finished off the last day of school with a plunge in the Shelter Bay pool. Cyrus and his buddies were enjoying themselves at the End of School Bash at the Shelter Bay pool and cabana on Monday right after La Conner Elementary School let out for the summer. Terri Cunningham and Karen Watkins, of Shelter Bay, spearheaded the event. They organized a prize raffle, made sure there were plenty of tasty snacks and ended the afternoon with a coin-treasure hunt in the pool.
