11:39 a.m.: Not nice – A student made verbal threats at the La Conner Middle School. The student was counseled by the Sheriff and school. No crime.

Tuesday Oct 11

10:49 a.m.: Super not nice – A student stole another student’s cell phone at the La Conner Middle School, but it was later returned; the victim did not wish to press charges.

3:54 p.m.: Big ticket! – Someone hit a parked car at the La Conner Marina and left the accident. Surveillance cameras caught the suspect’s car, and theMontana resident was contacted and cited for a hit-and-run.

4:06 p.m.: No show – A 28-year-old man did not show up for work in La Conner and was reported missing. The man lives inWhatcomCounty, so the Whatcom County Sheriff was contacted to investigate.

8:12 p.m.: Parking lot show – A 22-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were arguing in the parking lot of Pioneer Market in La Conner. The man was trespassed from the market and given a ride to the Swinomish Casino.

Wednesday Oct 12

5:27 a.m.: Early birds – Suspicious people walking in the neighborhood onChannel Drive north of La Conner. Deputies checked the area and they were gone. They may have left in a vehicle.

9:42 p.m.: Big ticket! – A 22-year-old woman was pulled over inConway for speeding. She was cited for driving with a suspended license.

Thursday Oct 13

9:30 p.m.: Tree down – A tree was down in the roadway onBest Road near Rexville Grocery. Deputies cleared the roadway.

Friday Oct 14

4:46 p.m.: Harassment – A 57-year-old man inConway was reporting harassment by co-workers, but there was no crime. The man was given options he can use to resolve the problem.

Saturday Oct 15

1:17 a.m.: Suicide attempt – Anonymous report of a person that may have jumped off theDeceptionPassBridge. The area was checked and nothing was found.

Sunday Oct 16

1:22 a.m.: Rock slide – A small rockslide on the side of the road near the La Conner side of theRainbowBridge. Public works was advised.

7:53 p.m.: Oops! – Someone onMaple Avenue, in La Conner misdialed 911. There was no problem.
