After a seven-year battle with multiple health issues, Robert Lee Strickert, 77, surrounded by loving family and friends, passed peacefully at his residence on Friday, August 27, 2021, in Anacortes. Bob was born on March 31, 1944, in Anacortes, the son of George and Alyce (Omundson) Strickert. He was a man who measured his life not by the number of breaths he took, but by the moments that took his breath away.

Viewing and Visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes, on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 1 p.m. at 1116 Haddon Lane in Anacortes. Bob will be laid to rest at Wood Memorial Park in Greer, South Carolina on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
