Monday, October 19

10:19 a.m .: Catch this guy – Caller reported her husband had found that their three vehicles had been prowled sometime overnight. Some small tools and a purse were taken. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

10:38 a.m .: 20 minutes later – Caller reported her unlocked vehicle had been entered and rummaged through. The caller reported this two days after it had happened, requesting extra patrols. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

5:01 p.m .: Gas and a jump – Deputies responded to a disabled motorhome. A passerby assisted them with fuel and a jump start. Calhoun Rd., Greater La Conner.

Tuesday, October 20

5:42 a.m .: Remembering the rage – Caller reported a cold road rage incident. The caller said the suspect driver was tailgating him and made an aggressive pass. McLean / La Conner Whitney Rds., Greater La Conner.

10:10 a.m .: Prowled again – Caller reported a vehicle prowl. The caller said someone had rifled through the center console. Farm to Market Rd., Bay View.


4:54 p.m .: Rules and reasons – Caller reported a male that was refusing to wear a mask and being disorderly. Deputies contacted the male and advised him of the businesses right to refuse service to people not wearing masks and that he was being asked to leave. Chilberg Rd., La Conner.

Wednesday, October 21

2:42 p.m .: Viking sighting? – Report of a suspicious male with red hair standing at the end of a person’s driveway. Deputies checked the area and were Unable to Locate. View Bay View Rd., Bay View.

Thursday, October 22

3:32 p.m .: Horse call – Caller requesting a welfare check on a horse with no shelter. Deputies noticed the horse was being held in a fenced area away from the other horses. Animal Control Officer Diaz was to follow up on this complaint. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.


Saturday, October 24

8:48 a.m .: Left high, dry – Caller reported that his vehicle that he had left overnight was no longer there. Requesting a phone call from a deputy. A marina, N. 2nd St., La Conner.

6:13 p.m .: Female faker – Caller reported a female in her 20s attempted to cash two counterfeit checks. Female left the area in a Nissan passenger car prior to deputies’ arrival. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

Sunday, October 25

4:29 a.m .: Move it or lose it – Deputies tagged an abandoned vehicle for 24 hour removal. Deputies were unable to get a hold of the registered owner. Dodge Valley / Valentine Rds., Greater La Conner.


10:47 a.m .: Checks out – Report of a utility payment drop box that had been pried open and vandalized. S. 1st St., La Conner.
