Monday Feb 17

10:19 a.m.: Guest ticket – A driver fromAlaska was stopped for speeding and was discovered to be driving on suspended driver’s license, both inAlaska andWashington.

Tuesday Feb 18

11:23 a.m.: Alcohol problem – Swinomish Police reported that they saw someone walking intoPioneerPark in La Conner carrying what looked like an alcoholic beverage, but when a deputy arrived to check, they were unable to locate the person.

Thursday Feb 20

12:47 p.m.: Assault – A woman inConway reported that about two weeks ago she was with a group of friends when someone broke out the window of the vehicle she was riding in and assaulted her.

Saturday Feb 22

7:32 a.m.: Big ticket – A deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding onBest Road near Christianson’s Nursery east of La Conner and discovered that the driver also had a suspended driver’s license.


10:10 p.m.: Fence down – A vehicle struck a metal stake fence onFir Island Road nearConway and then took off. Deputies couldn’t find who did it.

Sunday Feb 23

7:15 a.m.: Moove please – Cows were in the road near the intersection of McLean and La Conner Whitney roads. A deputy rounded them up and notified the owner.
