GOING, GOING, GONE – Work progressed Tuesday on removal of framework for the former salmon net pen facility near Lone Tree Point. The fish farm opened there in the 1980s. Mindful of the collapse of fish pens off Cypress Island near Anacortes, the state last year opted not to renew its lease for the La Conner area operation.
