More than 70 local employers with job opportunities will be present at Skagit Valley College first career fair May 18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Knutzen Cardinal Center on the Mount Vernon campus. Local employers will be recruiting from all areas of study, with industries including diesel, automotive, manufacturing, welding, marine technology and health services.

The public is invited. Bring bring resumes, dress professionally, have questions for employers and be prepared to follow up with companies and positions of interest.
