The adult winners of the Skagit County Historical Museum 3rd annual writing contest were announced last week. They include, for their essays, Adam Lafayette, 1st place, “The Heirloom;” Glen Johnson, 2nd, “Seeds for the Future.”

Poetry winners are Jay Boreen, 1st, “Seeds of Hope” and Ariel Lepore, 2nd, “Planting Development. Skagit Living from Farmer to Farmer.”
