Two new exhibits open March 1 at the Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum: Maria Shell’s “Visual Aesthetic” and “170 Years of Flowers: Pieces from the Permanent Collection,” curated by Brian Nigus and Carla Schultz-Parks. Come 3-5 p.m. Saturday, March 4 for the free reception.

Shell’s exhibit hangs through May 28; the “Flowers” wilt April 30.

You are too late for the March 11 Wool Egg Class. You would have created a fiber egg reminiscent of the centuries-old Ukrainian tradition of painted eggs. A second class is planned.
