Sunday, July 31

7:15 p.m.: Fender bender – Two vehicle non-injury collision. One vehicle was following too close and crashed into the rear of the other vehicle when it braked suddenly. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

Monday, August 1

5:24 a.m.: Collision – Two vehicle non-injury collision that resulted in partially blocking the roadway. The vehicles were cleared from the roadway and traffic returned to normal. Beaver Marsh/McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

12:27 p.m.: Mistaken burglary – The homeowner was away from their house and returned to discover items missing. The person taking care of the house while the homeowner was away had those items for safe keeping. They are planning to get the property back to the owner. Center St., La Conner.

Tuesday, August 2

6:19 p.m.: Hot dogs – Report of dogs in a hot vehicle. A deputy responded to check on the dogs and found the sunroof open and the dogs did not appear in distress. Commercial St., La Conner.

Thursday, August 4

6:32 a.m.: Attempted boat theft – Sometime during the night someone attempted to steal an outboard motor off a boat. The motor was locked to the transom and the thieves were unsuccessful. Laurel St., La Conner.

12:08 p.m.: Possible shots fired – Report of shots being fired in the area that were possibly echoes. A deputy checked the area and did not locate anyone shooting. Valentine Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, August 5

12:51 p.m.: Boat equipment theft – A navigation system, tools and fishing gear were stolen from a boat. A suspect has not yet been identified. Sherman Ave., La Conner.

2:43 p.m.: Head on collision – Two vehicle injury collision. One vehicle swerved into the opposite lane and collided head on with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. Injured persons were treated by fire department and EMS. Maple Ave., La Conner.
