Sunday, April 3

1:29 p.m.: Guns make noise – Several reports were made about a loud explosion and then gunshots in the Milltown area. Deputies contacted an individual, who owns the property, and they admitted to doing some shooting. Skagit City Rd., Conway.

3:03 p.m.: Was it cashed? – Possibly fraud involving bitcoin.. A market, Morris St., La Conner.

Tuesday, April 5

12:11 p.m.: Family heirloom left – This was an abandoned fifth wheel trailer and the registered owner was deceased. Snee Oosh / Reservation Rds., Greater La Conner.

2:36 p.m.: Fast moving prowler – Three vehicles had been broken into. One person’s credit cards were already being used in Burlington. Higgins Airport Way / Ovenell Rd., Greater La Conner.

10:09 p.m.: Night runners – Kids running on the back side of the high school at an unusual time. Deputies did not locate the juveniles, and nothing appeared disturbed. 6th St., La Conner.


11:40 p.m.: Didn’t go far – Deputies were advised of a possible motor vehicle accident on La Conner Whitney Road just north of the roundabout. Deputies arrived to find the driver with a single vehicle that struck the guardrail. Deputies determined the driver, a 27-year-old La Conner resident was under the influence. They were arrested and booked into the Skagit County Community Justice Center. La Conner Whitney / /Chilberg Rds., La Conner.

Wednesday, April 6

7:52 a.m.: Dog gone – Dog in the roadway and it was gone on arrival. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

5:43 p.m.: Messin from Texas – Someone in Texas opened a bank account in the victim’s name. The victim was going to contact the credit company to work on clearing their credit. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.


Friday, April 8

2:27 p.m.: No-parking signs – The reporting party was allowing vehicles to park on their property so that tourists could view the tulip fields. People were then trespassing into the field. That property owner removed the free parking signs to avoid this issue. The property owner returned the signs to the reporting party as requested. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, April 9

10:02 a.m.: Doubly hard loss – The reporting party discovered her deceased mother’s 1996 gold Honda Accord with a silver quarter panel stolen from the driveway. S. 3rd St., La Conner.


10:23 a.m.: Bitter losses – Suspect walked out with a rain jacket valued at $95. During follow-up, deputies determined they also stole some bitters from the neighboring business. Deputies checked the area but did not locate the suspect. A store, S. 1st St., La Conner.
