She retired at the age of 55 for medical reasons.

Faye was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon where she sang in the choir. Faye was good natured to a fault and everywhere she lived and worked she was known as a cheerful, happy person and was beloved by all. Faye enjoyed taking care of her rescue dogs, crocheting, baking, classical music, reading, and giving gifts to her family and friends.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Margaret Martin of La Conner. Faye is survived by her brothers John (Denise), Glen (Rita), and sister Karen (Dennis), nephews Jonathan (Tori) and Matthew, and her great-nephew, Boyd

Everett Martin.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, a public memorial service will not be held at this time. Please make any donations to the First United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon, WA.
