Monday, September 6

10:52 a.m.: In town prowl – Cold vehicle prowl. Entry was made by breaking a window. Morris St., La Conner.

11:45 a.m.: Towed, not stolen – Caller reported their rental car that had broken down at the post office had been stolen. Upon further investigation, it was learned that a tow company had been sent out by the rental company and towed the vehicle. S. 1st St., La Conner.

6:50 p.m.: I can’t breathe – Caller reported his C-PAP machine had been stolen from his boat. The caller called back and had located the machine. A marina, N. 2nd St., La Conner.

7:24 p.m.: Prowl south of here – Cold vehicle prowl. Entry was made by breaking a window. Dike Rd., Conway.

Tuesday, September 7

10:58 p.m.: Cows on prowl – Cows in the roadway. Cows were put back in the pasture by deputies. Dodge Valley Rd., Greater La Conner.

Wednesday, September 8

11:03 a.m.: Sign signals crossed – Caller reported suspected theft of campaign signs. Caller called back and found the property owner had removed the sign. Maple Ave., La Conner.

1:24 p.m.: Out of sight, out of mind – Caller reported two dogs stolen from her car. Caller called back later and remembered she had left them at the doggy daycare. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

1:44 p.m.: Sticking out – Parking problem. Vehicle blocking line of site onto roadway. Talbott / Whatcom Sts., La Conner.

Thursday, September 9

3:44 p.m.: Car targeted – Caller reported someone had shot a BB or pellet gun at his parked vehicle window. Fir Island Rd., Conway.

11:24 p.m.: Caught after act – Caller reported an interrupted burglary and that he had chased two people from the store. Swinomish PD stopped a vehicle matching the description at the Rainbow Bridge and detained the driver. Deputies took custody of the driver and booked him into Juvenile Detention for investigation of second degree burglary. Morris St., La Conner.

Friday, September 10

9:51 p.m.: Caught after act 2 – Deputies investigated a hit and run accident. Deputies found a vehicle had struck a mailbox and left the scene. Deputies located the suspect vehicle and driver at the Conner Place Apartments. La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

Saturday, September 11

11:06 a.m.: Broke down here – Deputies located a motorcycle that was reported to be abandoned. Deputies determined the motorcycle was having mechanical problems and was not abandoned. Chilberg Rd. / Ln, Greater La Conner.

Sunday, September 12

1:07 p.m.: Bad human –

Deputies investigated a report of a male pulling and striking a dog while walking it.
