Monday, July 26

2:13 p.m.: Oversensitive person – Dog was reported inside a vehicle. Deputy checked and dog was in shade, had water and all windows to car were down. S. 1st St., La Conner.

3:25 p.m.: No help here – Fraudulent activity occurred in Florida. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:57 p.m.: Dinghy got help – Out crabbing near Hope Island in a small dinghy when the motor quit working. They were able to get assistance and the Sheriff’s Office did not respond. Hope Island, Greater La Conner.

10:04 p.m.: Independent minded – Fireworks coming from the reservation side of the channel. N. 2nd St., La Conner.

Wednesday, July 28

Prowls within an hour – These prowls were reported in a 45 minute span. Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.

12:06 p.m.: Passenger side window of vehicle broken out but nothing was stolen.


12:44 p.m.: Passenger side window broken, nothing stolen, no suspects.

12:47 p.m.: Driver’s side window broken, nothing stolen.

12:49 p.m.: Driver’s side window broken, nothing stolen.

12:53 p.m.: Good decision punished – A Merax electric bike was stolen from near the tavern. Owner left it there as he was too intoxicated to drive home. The bike was valued at $800. S. 1st St., La Conner.

2:56 p.m.: Different ag ache – An irrigation valve was damaged. It appeared that someone was trying to remove the item from a machine. The value was $600. Channel Dr., Greater La Conner.

Thursday, July 29

12:00 p.m.: Prowled again – Front passenger window broken out of vehicle and a women’s purse was stolen. The purse contained house keys only. Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.


12:23 a.m.: Big roller – Four mounted tires and wheels were stolen from a home in the 700 block of S 2nd St. The tires and wheels were valued at $2,400. S. 2nd St., La Conner.

Friday, July 30

8:19 a.m.: On their mind – Unfounded. Someone wanting to report an assault that occurred 50 years ago. Beaver Marsh Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:34 a.m.: Breaking, entering – Suspects entered an unsecure parking garage and were able to break a door handle and enter into an office. A laptop and ink cartridges were stolen. No suspects. S. 1st St., La Conner.

12:26 p.m.: Prowl pattern– A vehicle was forcibly entered and a purse, wallet, phone and other items were stolen from inside the car. Bay View Edison Rd., Greater La Conner.


Saturday, July 31

3:07 p.m.: Whole car stolen – A 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Gray in color was stolen overnight in front of the residence. It also had a Thule bike rack on the roof. Finley Lane, La Conner.

Monday, July 2

8:01 a.m.: Long haul hauled – A utility trailer with Alaska plates was stolen after 8-1-21 from the 700 block of Maple St. Maple Ave., La Conner.
