12:12 p.m .: Lone star tale – Caller reported they received a call claiming they had a warrant out of Texas and needed to pay the caller in gift cards. Pearle Jensen Way., La Conner.

5:29 p.m .: Too fast downhill – Caller reported a skateboarder ran into his vehicle while driving. No damage to the vehicle and no injuries to the skateboarder. Washington Ave. / S. 2nd St., La Conner.

Wednesday, June 30

4:52 a.m .: Early window shopper – Report of a male looking into windows in the area. Deputies checked for the suspect but were unable to locate him. Morris St., La Conner.

10:27 a.m .: Gift bike – Caller reported a motorcycle abandoned on his driveway. Deputies investigated and could not locate the owner. The caller said it could stay there for a few days. Farm to Market Rd., Bay View.

6:32 p.m .: Double trouble – Caller advised that a neighbor called him and said a male was trying to break into the caller’s house and is also trying to break into a parked car. Maple Ave., La Conner.


Thursday, July 1

1:34 a.m .: Night shift – Caller reported a chain saw and chipper running at 1:30 a.m. Deputies contacted a Puget Sound Energy crew doing repair work. Pioneer Pkwy., Rainbow Bridge, La Conner.

10:20 a.m .: Morning weaver – Report of an erratically driven vehicle. La Conner Whitney / McLean Rds., Greater La Conner.

9:20 p.m .: Almost-break-in – Caller reported that someone tried to break the commercial locks on four retail spaces he owns. The caller said no entry was gained, but the locks were damaged. Morris St., La Conner.


Friday, July 2

5:51 p.m .: Dog dodger – Report of a dog running in the roadway. Deputies were unable to locate it. Best Rd. / SR 20, Greater La Conner.

Sunday, July 4

8:52 a.m .: RV getaway – Report of an RV being towed with the slide out extended and traffic is having to swerve to avoid the trailer. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate it. McLean / Beaver Marsh Rds., Greater La Conner.

12:41 p.m .: Purse snatched – Caller reported a vehicle prowl and purse theft. Tillinghast Dr., La Conner.
