Tuesday, November 17

7:47 a.m .: Drug pick up – Deputies collected a small baggie of suspected drugs that was found by Public Works staff in the public restrooms. S. 1st St., La Conner.

9:00 a.m .: Less than meets eye – Deputies responded to a report of people taking parts off of a vehicle. Deputies checked the area and did not contact any suspects on scene. The owner of the vehicle was notified to respond and remove the vehicle. Calhoun / Kamb Rds., Greater La Conner.

10:18 a.m .: Nothing here either – Report of a suspicious vehicle driving in the area of Channel Dr. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle. Channel Dr, La Conner.

4:31 p.m .: Point made – Deputies responded to a report of a male suspect who had pointed a weapon at the caller. The caller had left the area and called 911. Deputies checked the area for the suspect vehicle, but they had already left. Investigation continuing. Similk Beach, Greater La Conner.


Wednesday, November 18

9:01 a.m .: Stolen, found – Caller reported a theft of her license plate tabs. Mount Vernon PD recovered the stolen tabs. McLean Rd., Greater La Conner.

9:09 a.m .: The answer? – Deputies were requested by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office to check a residence for a vehicle and ask the owner if they knew where their vehicle was. S. 3rd St., La Conner.

10:41 a.m .: Dogs being dogs – Washington State Patrol requested Animal Control Officer to assist with catching two dogs running in traffic.SR 20/ La Conner Whitney Rd., Greater La Conner.

2:08 p.m .: Horse being horse – Deputies responded to a report of a horse running in traffic. Deputies attempted to catch the horse, but it ran far out into a field. Deputies attempted to contact the horse owner, but they were not home. Bradshaw Rd., Greater La Conner.

Friday, November 20

10:25 a.m .: No sale – Caller reported a “skinny male, about 6’02” tall” who knocked on their business door, then ran away when they came to the door. Local business were notified by the caller. Additional patrols will be conducted by the Sheriff’s Office. S. 1st St., La Conner.

4:14 p.m .: Off course – Deputies investigated a boat collision in the Swinomish Channel. There were no injuries as a result of the collision. Hope island, Greater La Conner.


6:18 p.m .: Hit and stayed – Caller reported an accident that occurred to her parked car. The suspect vehicle and driver remained on scene and exchanged information Sherman Ave., La Conner.

Saturday, November 21

11:57 a.m .: Dogs gone – Caller reported lost livestock dogs. The dogs were described as large and white with spots. Ring Ln., La Conner.

Sunday, November 22

12:22 a.m .: Lights out – Report of a vehicle driving with its headlights off in the area. Deputies checked the area and were Unable to locate. Post office, S. 1st St, La Conner.

12:27 p.m .: Dogs being dogs – Caller reported his neighbors dogs had attacked his chickens. The caller said this was not the first time this has happened. Animal Control followed up on this case. Beaver Marsh Rd, Greater La Conner.


4:49 p.m .: Came knocking – Caller requesting a patrol check after a male had knocked on his door, then signaled to a vehicle and left. Nothing was taken. Deputies checked for the vehicle and male, Unable to locate. Dalan Pl., La Conner.
