11:04 a.m.: Heart and bank broken – Caller reported that she had been asked by a male that she had met online to deposit a large check he had sent her and in turn purchase several gift cards with the deposit and give him the gift card numbers. The caller found that the check was no good and the money on the gift cards had already been withdrawn. Talbott St., La Conner.
