Monday, October 12

1:49 p.m .: Bad owner – Bicycle rider was chased and bit by a loose dog. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

4:45 p.m .: Made noise and ran – Report of a male and female lighting fireworks in the park. Deputies checked the park, but were unable to locate them. S. 4th St., La Conner.

Tuesday, October 13

6:36 a.m .: Pregnancy pressures – Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident where the pregnant driver said she passed out and drove off the roadway. No injuries. Best Rd., Greater La Conner.

4:34 p.m .: Give me your money – Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 700 block of South 1st St for a reported robbery that had just occurred at approximately 4:34 p.m.

The business owner reported that a male wearing red bandana, black knit cap, black sweatshirt and black sweatpants entered the store and demanded money.


The victim stated the suspect was armed with a handgun.

The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Skagit County K-9 attempted to track the suspect but did not locate him.

Swinomish Police also assisted in the search.

The suspect was not known to the store owner and he has not been located at this time.

7:49 p.m .: Suspect sighting? – Caller reported a possible sighting of a suspect involved in an earlier robbery riding a bicycle in the area. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate the subject. Dry S. 1st St., La Conner.


Wednesday, October 14

3:45 p.m .: Snoozed and lost – Deputies contacted a tagged abandoned vehicle. The vehicle had not been removed and was towed. Best / Moore Rds., Conway.

5:27 p.m .: Escalating hostility – Caller reported his “Trump/Pence” signs have been spray painted on several occasions and were stolen today.

Friday, October 16

2:08 p.m .: No worries – Report of a vehicle that had been parked on the caller’s property for several hours. While deputies were enroute, the caller called back and said the vehicle had been picked up. Dry Slough Rd., Conway.

Saturday, October 17

7:02 a.m .: Hunt’s on – Caller reported a lot of gunfire at 0700 AM. The caller was advised it was opening day of water fowl hunting. Dry Slough Rd., Conway.


Sunday, October 18

12:18 p.m .: Democracy on the march – Caller reported that the ballot box in front of the library was about to overflow with ballots. Morris St., La Conner.

12:24 p.m .: That’s odd – Caller reported their gate was left open and a battery was stolen and left in the middle of the road. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

1:22 p.m .: Catch this guy – Cold vehicle prowl. The caller said tools and other items taken. Bay View Edison Rd., Bay View.

2:07 p.m .: Scratched not broken – Minor injury accident. The driver hit a power pole and was bleeding from the head. The driver had walked to the caller’s door for help. Fir Island Rd., Conway.
